The #1 Export From Rural Counties in Utah is Talent
How to we get more opportunities for Self-Reliance in Rural America? This primarily comes from families staying together. It also stems from Economic Resilience which contributes to Rural Infrastructure.
“Over the next 5 years, the most significant labor force needs are likely to be software application developers, computer and information system managers, application developers, computer user support specialists, and systems software developers.” – Business in Utah
Our goal is in alignment with initiatives similar to the Utah Center for Rural Development, as we aim to provide programs and employment opportunities to rural Utah.
Rural & Urban Initiatives:
Dev Pipeline is committed to uplifting communities through workforce development in both urban and rural settings. Starting right here in Orem, Utah and its surrounding rural communities, we are committed to hiring and training apprentices for tech careers so that they can work from home or work in smaller cohorts within their communities. This prevents a brain-drain from rural communities into larger urban settings and keeps communities and families together and more economically resilient. Likewise, Dev Pipeline is committed to employing “non-traditional hires” meaning those who have been displaced by COVID-19, are reentering the workforce, at-risk youth, Veterans and Military Spouses, those touched by the justice system and the underemployed or unemployed.
We believe strengthening the economic stability of individuals and families through workforce development in the technology sector accomplishes two main goals:
1) To uplift and empower people to pursue careers in technology with potentially unlimited upward mobility.
2) To solve the massive deficit of unfilled technology roles within the United States.
Dev Pipeline would love to have you and your community be a part of this initiative. If you have any questions or would like to involve your community in this program, you can email us at email@example.com.
